Purchase Returns

Purchase returns are goods returned by the buyer to the supplier, usually because of defects, wrong quantity, damage, or quality issues. These returns reduce the net purchase value and may also affect input tax, payables, and inventory records. Proper documentation is important so supplier balances and stock records remain accurate.
