Accrual Basis Accounting

Accrual basis accounting is a method of accounting where transactions are recorded when they occur rather than when cash is exchanged. Revenue is recognized when earned, and expenses are recognized when incurred. This method gives a more accurate and complete picture of business performance than cash accounting, especially for growing businesses.
