Billed Revenue

Billed revenue refers to revenue for which an invoice has already been issued to the customer. It means the company has formally raised a claim for payment, though cash may still be outstanding. Depending on the accounting stage and nature of the contract, billed revenue may also be linked to accounts receivable.
