Knockdown Cost

Knockdown cost refers to a reduced or lowered cost achieved through efficiencies, redesign, process improvement, negotiation, or cost-saving measures. It may be used informally in cost management discussions to describe a significantly improved cost structure. From a management perspective, the focus is on how the cost reduction was achieved and whether it is sustainable.
