Intercompany Transactions

Intercompany transactions are transactions that take place between entities within the same group, such as a parent company and its subsidiary or between two subsidiaries. Examples include sales, loans, management charges, and transfer of goods or services. These transactions must often be eliminated in consolidated financial statements so the group is not overstated.
